Self-value, we hear this term all the time, but what does it really mean? What does it mean to truly value oneself and walk in this world feeling fully confident, loved, and accepted? To walk in this world knowing deep down inside that you play an invaluable role, knowing that you are unique in your own form. What a feeling of freedom and fullness, wholeness and abundance.
I closed my eyes and imagined myself walking around the world with this truth deeply seeded in my mind, heart, and soul, and it felt really good. I remember smiling so big, knowing that I am special as I am, that I am enough as I am. I felt a deep sense of calm overcome me, wiping all anxiety from my body. I made it my goal that day to walk with that mindset, even if it didn’t feel right at times because my ego wouldn’t allow me to feel good about myself. …Continue Reading

This sounds easy in theory, and it is in practice too! Now that’s a deal!!!
How: when you breathe deep, you breath from your navel, and not from your chest. Your lungs and stomach almost inflate , and that inflation massages your reproductive organs. Breathing deeply helps bring life energy back into our bodies, including our sexual bodies. It also promotes more oxygen to enter our bodies, which allows for better circulation in all aspects. Conscious deep breathing allows for more blood to enter our sexual organs, creating more sensation, and who doesn’t want that! Along with all that greatness, it also allows us to relax and release tension from our bodies, which further promotes greater sex!

How We Internally Abuse Ourselves
Hit yourself!!! WHAT??? ! Why would you even do that in the first place right?
You probably think this is completely unacceptable, and you’re right, hitting is unacceptable, but we do it constantly on a mental level so what makes that ok? Just because we don’t see the physical bruises that our mind causes our hearts and our internal body, doesn’t mean they are not there. The way we feel internally manifests externally in our bodies and in our lives. Our sadness shows in our face and the way we walk, our pain manifests in the tension we carry in our body, our anger manifests in the tone we use when we speak. You cannot run away from your internal world so as a reminder to check in with it, see how it feels to hurt yourself physically every-time you do mentally. I invite you to hit yourself (lightly!!!!) every time a negative thought comes up about yourself and about others? Speaking from experience, I reckon it doesn’t feel too good. These negative thoughts are continuously hurting us internally and spiritually. …Continue Reading

We live in a fast paced world that that many times robs us of our ability to listen. Our minds try to keep up with this fast paced world, and it never seems to slow and quiet down. Every second we are thinking something, whether it be the next thought about what you will be saying once this person stops all their talking, or how you forgot to take a shower this morning and you hope you don’t smell bad. Whatever the thought, it’s there, always there. So when do we actually listen? I mean obviously we have to listen in order to get things done, but are we actually listening to the other person or our own mind, or a mixture of both. When was the last time you really just listened, with no mind chatter, no judgment, no opinion. Just listening. I have to say, not very many!

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Saying Thank You just feels so GOOD! Like a bowl of chicken soup it nourishes and brings warmth to our heart, soul, and life. There is so much to be thankful for everyday, the sunshine peeking through our window as we wake in the morning, the delicious wholesome food that nourishes our bodies, the beautiful people and community we are surrounded by, and most importantly for being alive! Everyday we have the opportunity to experience the beauty life has to offer us, and for that we should be grateful.
Gratitude is medicine for the soul! Gratitude heals our hearts and our world. It fills us with joy and invited love into our world. How awesome is that! Life has showed me that when one is grateful, when one says thank you every morning for being alive, life grants them more reasons to be grateful! So every morning when I awake, I say Thank You from my heart and my day begins with love. I allow greatness to enter my life. …Continue Reading

Thats right I said it! Sugar is the number one drug out on the market today and is EVERYWHERE!!! In fact, studies have proven that sugar and sugar additives are 4 times more addictive than cocaine[i]! Everywhere we turn, there is sugar, staring us straight in the face saying EAT ME, and most of the time we give in! Sugar is in everything including canned vegetable, baby food, cereals, and peanut butter, for the reason that it gets you hooked on the food, so you will want more. How convenient for business, yet not so much for our bodies. It comes disguised in fancy language, labeled as corn syrup, dextrose, maltose, glucose, fructose, or maltodextrin.
The United States is the largest consumer of sweeteners and one of the largest global sugar importers. The average American now consumes more than 100 pounds of sugar per year, in comparison to the 8 pounds of broccoli eaten by Americans every year. If we consumed as much vegetables and leafy greens as we do sugar, we would be a much healthier nation! So how has sugar become Americans number one drug choice? Sugar is extremely addicting for two reasons; eating even a small amount creates a strong desire for more and when you try and give it up you go through withdrawal symptoms such as headaches, mood swings, cravings and fatigue. Pretty crazy huh? …Continue Reading

STRESS!!! We all know what it feels like, and we all know it doesn’t feel pretty! Who likes stress anyways? Yet we all experience it on a daily basis, and many times we are the creators of our own stress. Funny how that works. This is NOT a healthy or sustainable cycle to be involved it, yet millions are caught in the Catch 22 dilemma.
Luckily, it is possible to break this cycle. You can learn to take little moments of de-stressing time throughout the day which will allow you to relax without infringing on your busy schedule. The following ten tips offer you insight into ten small ways to relax in less than ten minutes at a time.

Simple Ways to Find Balance Between Heart and Mind
To me life is but a play representing the battle all human beings go through, the battle between the mind and heart. Even the wisest yogis, monks, Buddhas, and those who attained Enlightenment had experienced this inner battle. When we are children we listent to our hearts, and that is our main source of wisdom. If you think about children, they do what they want to do, so if they want to play, they play, if they want to eat they eat. They dont ever ask themselves, “Am I hungry, should I eat”, they just know that they are hungry and so they eat. It is adults that question everything, our mind not allowing us to just enjoy life for what it is. Instead we question everything from the top to bottom, allowing life to pass us by. Stop allowing your life to just pass by, and start living it! …Continue Reading

The Four Agreements

Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, wrote four simple, but not such easily practiced principles to living a happy and wholesome life. Throughout our lives we are conditioned to portray ourselves through the eyes of others and the eyes of that bully of a mind we have. We constantly battle with who we truly are and how we should act and behave in society. We forget to ask our deepest selves what is it that we really want, not what we think we want or what other may want for us. That is how we end up going against ourselves unconsciously, resulting in things not going our way. We forget to be honest with ourselves and instead tell ourselves and others what we think they want to hear, when really all anybody ever really wants and/or need is the TRUTH! …Continue Reading
